Greeting from the
Olathe Noon Optimist Club President
Welcome to the Olathe Noon Optimist Club website. We invite you to take a few moments to review the site and lern more about our club's projects and events.
Olathe Noon Optimist Club members have been serving the needs of Olathe youth for over 70 years. Some of our current activities for young people include Olathe's Got Talent, Essay and Oratorical Contests, Dictionaries for Fourth Graders, and participation in the annual Kansas District Optimist Golf Tournament which raises funds for Childhood Cancer Camps.
Our club is affiliated with Optimist International which was established in 1919 to improve the lives of young people. Optimist International is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri and has over 2500 individual clubs worldwide whose members all work to bring out the best in children, their communities and themselves.
If you are interested in helping young people, we invite you to visit one of our weekly meetings to learn more about our club. We meet for lunch and a short program from 11:00 to 12:00 noon each Thursday at Austin's Bar and Grill, 11180 S. Lone Elm Rd., Olathe. We would love to have you join us. If you have questions, please leave a message using the "Contact Us" link on this website. Current information about our meetings can also be found on our Olathe Noon Optimist Club Facebook Page.
